Please note the following changes in guidance to when a student, faculty or staff member may return to school from the Indiana Department of Health:
- If a student, faculty or staff member has symptoms of COVID-19 and has not been tested- all household members should be advised to quarantine. If they receive an alternative diagnosis from a doctor OR do get tested and test negative, then household members no longer need to quarantine.
- If a symptomatic person tests negative, they may return without an alternate diagnosis as long as they are fever free for 24 hours and show improvement of symptoms.
- Household members of a person positive with COVID-19 need to quarantine 14 days after the last day of their isolation (which is day 10). This means household members will quarantine a total of 24 days unless they have symptoms. At that point, we refer to the symptomatic scenarios.
Students who are absent but feel well enough to participate in elearning are encouraged to do so! Please discuss with your student(s) principal or school counselor if this is needed.
Thank you in advance for your support as we continue to adjust to changes as they relate to Covid.
